Twins Dream Meaning

The twins could suggest a duality in thoughts, ideas, feelings, or states of consciousness.

The details of the dream will give you a clue to whether or not these varying aspects are in harmony or in conflict with each other.

The twins could also represent the balance that is extremely important to our emotional and psychological health. Old dream interpretation books say that dreaming about adult twins foretells of “double trouble followed by double joy.”

A perceived similarity between two people or things (similar qualities, situations, etc.).

The idea of “double” or perhaps “too much” (such as of work or responsibility).

Identical twins can also represent: a copy, or the idea of copying, a mirror image or reflection, something mirrored back to you by someone else (such as your mood, attitude, or a characteristic).

1- In dreams twins may, if known to us, simply be themselves.

If they are not known to us then they may represent two sides of one idea.

2- Often in everyday life we come up against conflicts between two oppositcs. Twins in dreams can actually represent two sides of our personality acting in harmony.

3- Duality must eventually re-unite into unity. Twins illustrate the idea that while separate at the moment, that unity can be achieved.

The dreamer may be demonstrating two distinct personalities.

A spiritual conceptualization is that while unity is the original state and splits into duality, duality must eventually reunite into unity.

TWO-FACED

Folklore: Very bad luck.

A twin may also be a symbol of your “shadow” (“two voices but one soul”).

To dream of having twins, foretells to a woman that she will be surprised by hearing from a former lover who lives at a great distance.

If they are sickly, it signifies that you will have disappointment and grief.

If they are not known to us then they may represent two sides of one idea.
