Dreaming of bridal veils, especially for a woman, portends successful changes.

Putting aside a veil reflects a willingness to accept a change in status or role in a situation.

Celtic: The movement of fate, which can never be totally seen or known within mortal limits. It was believed that a peek behind fate’s veil presaged death.

Seven veils, such as those possessed by Salome and Isis, represent the planetary spheres (see Planets, Zodiac Signs). On the dream plane, this may open new insight into the weavings of fate or destiny as they interact with your free will.

Veils may also reflect endings, as they were often worn by widows during mourning.

To dream that you wear a veil, denotes that you will not be perfectly sincere with your lover, and you will be forced to use stratagem to retain him.

Interpretation 4 — Martha Clarke

This is an invitation to knowledge, but serves to hide the face and suggests, at the same time, that which it hides. In parallel, to dream of a veil should also encourage you to fight against that which shames you. For a woman, it denotes an erotic game and seduction. Additionally, according to Freud, it symbolizes the female hymen and the fear of sexual relations.

The monks occasionally wear veils. In spiritual terms, this dream could represent a rejection of mundane things. On the other hand, oneiric superstition says that dreaming of a black veil predicts a break in love. A white one, in contrast, foreshadows marriage.
