Drug dream meaning is explained below using 2 different sources. Each interpretation is shown with its source.

Interpretation 1 — Nancy Wagaman

A drug can represent actual or desired: Solving or relieving of a physical, emotional, or mental problem.

Changing the course of a process in a positive way (as a medication can change the course of an illness).

Consider the context, type of drug, and motivation and feelings associated with taking the drug.

Using illegal drugs (when you don’t in real life) can be an indication of a Toxic Dream or can represent: feeling “out of it” or not quite yourself, a feeling or fear of being out of control of yourself, taking a risk, a desire to escape something painful or unpleasant, rejecting yourself or neglecting responsibilities, a desire to change something about yourself or to try something new.

Someone trying to get you to use illegal drugs can represent a feeling or fear of: questionable motives, manipulation, being tempted into a harmful habit, or someone trying to “bring you down to their level.” Forgetting to take or losing your prescription drugs can represent a feeling or fear of neglecting a responsibility in your life or not having something you need.
