Interpretation 2 — Martha Clarke

Seeing a portrait of yourself reflects the visible world in reality. A self- portrait allows you to illuminate your true personality or what you desire to be. In general, this type of dream shows a lack of communication with one’s interior.

If you create a positive image of yourself, it means that you are satisfied with how you are.

If the opposite is shown, the dream evidences that you are afraid to discover something hidden in yourself. Lastly, dreaming of making a portrait of someone else manifests feelings toward that person.
