Hill Dream Meaning

A valley of green pasture surrounding a hill in the dream represents his strength, justice in method of dealing with others, or it could mean religious devotion. Following that line of thoughts, it also means rising in rank at the hand of a powerful person. Crossing hills in a dream means escaping from danger. Standing on top of a hill in a dream means presiding over a religious person. Descending a hill or an elevation in a dream represents losses, migraine headache, or humiliation. Imprisonment on the top of a hill in a dream means a high rankingjob. Ifthe elevation is made of trash in a dream, it means worldly and material status.

An elevation in a dream also represents one’s wife.

Also hill or hills sometimes represent breasts or the belly.

A hole at the bottom of a hill: especially if surrounded by shrubs, depicts the vagina. Green sunny hillside: feeling whole; a sense of heaven.

To dream that we are going downhill would indicate we feel that circumstances are pushing us in a certain direction. We may be moving from a level of attainment and now feel that – with relaxation of effort – we are not so much in control of our own abilities.

The height of a hill will correlate with the amount of stress you are feeling.

A hill in a dream may also represent the challenges you face that are exhilarating and will result in some sort of payoff, for as you reach the top of the hill, you will have the benefit of both the view and the trip down.

(1) Rounded hills may be sexual symbols, owing to their resemblance to female breasts.

(2) The breasts represented may be those of your mother. Are you still too much under her sway; not yet a person in your own right?

(3) The breasts may be Mother Earth’s - that is, for a female dreamer, the hills may symbolize innate strength and wisdom available in her unconscious.

NB The hills don’t have to be a pair: Earth Mothers are frequently many-breasted.

If you are climbing a hill with enthusiasm it means you are improving your professional or social situation. In contrast, it can also be an obstacle to be overcome in real life. Depending on what it takes to climb the hill, it means abundance or scarcity of resources that you have to attain your purposes.

If you are unable to climb a hill, someone expects you to do something you’re not ready for.

To dream of rolling down a hill suggests that if you maintain your sense of optimism in the face of difficulties, you will find a creative way to succeed, even if failure seems certain.

A brilliantly lit hill is symbolic of God’s dwelling place, Ps. 43:3.
