(Harness, Headgear, Reins of power, Restraint, Rope) In a dream, a bridle represents a wife, a battlefield, or a sickness.
A bridle in a dream also means obedience, servitude or submission and wealth in the hands of the one who sees himself holding it.
If a traveller sees a bridle in a dream, it means slow coming news from home. Ifa sick person sees the bridle of a horse in his dream, it means shattering of his hopes.
If a traveller sees a bridle in his dream, it means being forsaken by others.
A bridle in a dream also could mean protection from sin.

1- To be bridled in a dream, as in being yoked to something, indicates the need for restraint and control.
If the bridle is made of flowers it indicates a more feminine way of imposing control.
If the bridle is harsher such as one of metal and/or leather we perhaps need to be harder on ourselves or on someone we love.
2- The bridle can indicate the need for focused attention on some aspect of our lives.
3- A degree of spiritual restraint or control may be needed.

To dream of a bridle, denotes you will engage in some enterprise which will afford much worry, but will eventually terminate in pleasure and gain.
If it is old or broken you will have difficulties to encounter, and the probabilities are that you will go down before them.
A blind bridle signifies you will be deceived by some wily enemy, or some woman will entangle you in an intrigue.

If the bridling is more austere – such as one of metal and / or leather – we perhaps need to use firmness and restraint (more masculine qualities). There may also, of course, be wordplay here with the word ‘bridal’.
